Lake Como. Ummm...Wow.

Many years ago my brother Nick was telling me about his trip to Italy back when he was at Berkeley and he was particularly fond of Lake Como saying it was one of the most beautiful places on earth. My folks said the same thing back when they visited back in the 80s.  Knowing this I had decided to go see for myself.  Well, as it turns out, Nick actually visited nearby Lake Garda and my memory is officially crap but who cares!  I ended up at Lake Como and it was spectacular.  There are a few places on earth that are truly breathtaking: Santa Barbara, Laguna Beach, Southern Bavaria/Salzgammergut, and now Lake Como.
While I was there over the weekend I had the chance to check out Como, where I stayed for the night.  By itself it was a fantastic town but it kept getting better.  I took the delightfully slow boat to Bellagio and that is when things really started to get good.  I'll have to come back and write some more but to be honest, I'll let the pictures to all the talking.  What a weekend!
